Welcome to MemeDance ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our AI generation services.
- Account Information: We receive encrypted identifiers and associated profile information (e.g., email address, username) from SNS login providers (e.g., Google, Meta).
- User Content (Images/Videos): We collect the images or videos you upload strictly for the purpose of generating your requested AI content.
- Device & Notification Data: We collect unique device identifiers (e.g., FCM tokens, APNs) solely to send you push notifications regarding the status of your video generation or important service updates.
- Payment Information: We do not store your credit card details. All payments are processed securely by our third-party merchants: Lemon Squeezy, LLC (for web) and Apple/Google (for app).
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous data on how you use the app (e.g., number of videos generated, error logs) to improve system stability.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
- To Provide Service: To process your uploaded images/videos and generate the AI image/video you requested.
- Service Improvement: To fix bugs and optimize the performance of our system.
- Communication: To send you push notifications or emails regarding your account or service changes.
Important (No AI Training): We do NOT possess or utilize any logic related to training AI models in any form using your data. Furthermore, with the exception of necessary thumbnails for your history, all uploaded source data is permanently deleted from our servers after a set period.
Notice Regarding Face-Related Data Processing:
We do not collect Face ID information, facial recognition templates, faceprints, biometric identifiers, or face data for identifying or authenticating users. However, photos or videos that users directly upload to generate AI content may contain faces, and during service processing, face-related intermediate data such as face pose/guide images and temporary frames for face detail enhancement may be generated temporarily.
Such face-related data is used only for providing app features, including generating the AI images/videos requested by the user, reflecting the motion of the input image and video, and improving face detail. We do not use this data for user identification, authentication, emotion analysis, profiling, advertising, tracking, or AI model training.
Original uploaded data and face-related intermediate data are temporarily processed in server storage environments (for example, Supabase) and GPU inference server environments (for example, RunPod) for generation tasks, and are not transmitted to external AI API providers such as OpenAI or Google. However, if the user directly selects the optional Kling Motion Control feature and separately agrees to it, the input/output data for that feature may be transmitted to Kling servers and processed according to Kling's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Original uploaded data and face-related intermediate data are automatically deleted within 72 hours after the generation task is completed. Generated outputs are retained for user convenience for 30 days and then automatically deleted. Low-resolution thumbnails for generation history may be retained until account deletion, and are deleted when the user deletes the history or deletes the account.

- Disclaimer: No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ.
- Global Infrastructure: We utilize global cloud infrastructure (e.g., servers in the US, Korea, or other regions) to provide fast and reliable service.
- Consent: By using the Service, you consent to this transfer, storage, or processing. We ensure such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Regardless of your location, we respect your privacy rights.
- GDPR (EEA/UK Users): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and the right to data portability.
- CCPA/CPRA (California Users): You have the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do NOT sell your personal information.

8. Children's Privacy & Minors
- Under 14: Users under the age of 14 are strictly prohibited from using the Service. If we discover data from a child under 14, we will delete it immediately.
- Minors (Under Age of Majority): If you are a minor over the age of 14 but under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (e.g., under 19 in South Korea), you represent that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

When you use Kling Motion Control, your data is transmitted to Kling's servers and processed under their terms. Accordingly, your data may be stored and processed on Kling's servers in accordance with Kling's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and may also be used by Kling for service improvement purposes.
