MemeDance Credit Policy

1. Credit Definitions

MemeDance operates on a credit-based system. Credits are the virtual currency used to generate AI images/videos on our platform.

Paid Credits: Credits purchased directly through our pricing plans. These are valid for all types of generation.
Preview Credits (Bonus): Complimentary credits awarded during purchase or special events. These credits are typically restricted to Preview (360p) video generation only, unless otherwise specified.

2. Validity Period (Expiration)

Credits have different expiration dates depending on how they were acquired. Expired credits are automatically removed from your account and cannot be recovered.

        Paid Credits: Valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase.
Preview Credits (Bonus from Purchase): Valid for 30 days from the date of acquisition.
Sign-up Preview Credits: Valid for 3 days (72 hours) from the moment they are granted.
Other Event Credits: Valid for the period explicitly stated at the time of issuance.

    

3. Deduction Priority (Consumption Logic)

When multiple applicable credits are available, the system applies the following logic:

Earliest Expiry First: Credits with the earliest expiration date are automatically consumed first to help you minimize loss.
Eligibility Check: Credits are deducted only from the credit type eligible for the selected generation mode (e.g., High-Res requests will skip Preview Credits and deduct from Paid Credits).

4. Usage & Costs

qHD/HD Generation: Requires Paid Credits. (Preview/Bonus credits cannot be used for this unless specified).
Preview (360p) Generation: Can be generated using Preview Credits or Paid Credits.
Cost Adjustments: We reserve the right to adjust the credit cost for specific generation modes based on AI model updates, GPU server costs, or market conditions. We will provide prior notice of any changes through in-app announcements.
Note: The exact credit cost per generation is displayed on the creation page prior to confirmation.

5. Refund & Restoration Policy

Generation Failure: If an image/video generation fails due to a system error or server timeout, the consumed credits will be automatically returned to your account immediately.
Non-Refundable: Once credits are successfully used to generate an image/video, they cannot be refunded, even if the user is dissatisfied with the aesthetic outcome of the AI generation.
Unused Credits: Please refer to our Refund Policy for details regarding refunds of unused paid credits.

6. Restrictions

Credits are strictly tied to the account that purchased them.
Credits cannot be transferred, gifted, or sold to other users or third parties.
Any attempt to abuse the credit system (e.g., creating multiple accounts to farm Sign-up Credits) may result in account suspension and forfeiture of all credits.
